Go backWhat is the AiFOS e-learning platform?
E-learning is total interaction and collaborative learning. Thanks to the ideas and needs expressed by users themselves, AiFOS has created an online training environment that allows a true training database to be created for each student, making it possible to consult the didactic material and the certificates that have been generated at any time.
Go backWhat is the difference between e-learning and DL (distance learning)?
E-learning is total interaction and collaborative learning as opposed to DL which is based on one-on-one interaction (isolated learning). Furthermore, e-learning takes place on an ICT platform that tracks the entire learning process through international standards.
Go backWhat is the Learning Subject?
This is the heart of the online lessons, which contains a series of tools (lesson text, teacher’s voice, animations, and interactions). The lessons are structured into learning units, each of which contains a summary and one or more intermediate tests.
Go backMinimum requirements for accessing an e-learning training course.
To correctly view the courses on the platform, it is necessary to adhere to the parameters specified on the Minimum Technical Requirementspage.
Go backIs there course documentation, a booklet, or material for taking notes?
Before beginning the e-learning course, it is necessary to download the course overview which contains all of the information required by the State-Regions Agreement dated 7 July 2016 (for example the program, duration of the course, training goals, etc.) and all of the course materialin PDF format .
Go backThe learning unit freezes or is not working.
If you cannot properly view the unit check that you meet all of the minimum necessary requirements correctly viewing our e-learning courses.
How can I go back to the slides that I have already viewed?
The system allows users to go back, without having to listen again, to all of the slides that they have already viewed and that, therefore, the system recognises as completed.
It is possible to go back and view content that has already been completed by using the “back” command positioned in the navigation bar below the slide itself.
To listen to or view the animations present in the slide again, the slide can be restarted from the beginning by clicking on the “refresh” command (circular arrow) positioned in the navigation bar below the slide itself.
Go backThe chapter is finished but the lock is still orange.
The chapters are organised hierarchically in relation to one another. If you do not follow the proper order of the slides, then the system will not grant access to the next step and the lock of the following chapter will remain orange.
N.B. If you have finished the entire chapter, but the system has not saved your progress, then most likely your internet connection was interrupted as you were taking the course. An internet connection must always be maintained in order to continue.
Go backWhat happens if I make a mistake on the self-evaluation tests?
Nothing. These are intermediate tests (drag and drop format) that are useful to your learning. What counts for the training course is the final test, found at the end of each module or of the course itself. If you feel it is necessary, the intermediate tests can be taken multiple times.
Go backI did not pass the final test. What do I do?
You have 3 attempts to pass the final test with a minimum of 7 correct answers.
You have 60 minutes to take the test and if you do not pass it you must wait 30 minutes before trying again.
If you have used up all of your available attempts and have not yet passed the test, you must get in touch with your contact person/tutor who will tell you what to do.
Go backWhere can I download my certificate?
The certificate can be downloaded only upon completion of the training course (100% attendance). The "Certificate" and "training booklet” buttons will appear in the right hand column, from which it is possible to generate and download the documents.
N.B. If the certificate prints entirely blank, it is possible that the connection to the base format was interrupted. In this case get in touch with your contact person/tutor who will tell you what to do.
Go backWho are the process and content tutors? How can I contact them?
As specified in the State-Regions Agreement dated 7 July 2016, AiFOS has appointed two tutors (one for processes and one for content) that meet the requirements established by the current legislation.
Their assigned tasks are:
You can contact the tutors at any time. Their information is found both within the platform and within the individual courses. They will respond as soon possible, within the office hours of the AiFOS National Headquarters.
